Hi,
I want to change my current black dials. I quite like the look of the white dials. Where's the best place to get the white dials from? I want the best quality possible.
Also, how hard are they to fit? Does it take long?
Thanks a lot
Jon

The Pug "Jeagar" GTi white dials are probably only available from pug, and would offer the highest quality (i imagine). You can sometimes buy white dial 'kits' from Halfords and places like that but these are normally 'generic' ones for a type of car rather than to fit a specific model.

You can get dial transfer kits from any car mod shop, they make specific ones for 206's but you should be able to order them.

Depends on your dealer i guess... Alot of them seem to have a 'that's your problem mate' attitude so as long as he's a decent bloke he should be able to order you them.

Not unless you can find someone that's modded their dials and is willing to sell them to you? Or you could go down the scrap/salvage yard and see if anyone's crashed a GTi there that you can nick the dials off

They will charge you an arm and a leg for a dial set.
You got a problem with them though, the mileage will be wrong, thats why I suggested a transfer kit instead.
You will I think will need to get them professionally fitted me thinks, to display the correct info

I think he only wants the 'fascia' for the dials, not the actual dials (if there is such a thing)? I'd have assumed you could just take off the old 'black' face and put on the white one??

You seriously wanting to dismantle your dials, buy a salvage set, pull that apart and retrieve the white (assumed stuck on) background, stick them onto yours and assemble.
You got to be mad - Get a transfer kit.......

So lets say we get some, must be a bit of a bugger to fix, mind you we could fix the rattle in the instrument pod at the same time...whahoo

Yeah you'll have to take most of the dash off and then the dials to pieces... Very scary
