Hi guys!
Im just wondering on average how many miles do you get on a full tank of a peugeot 206 1.4L LX.
I filled my tank (roughly 41 litres - £35) and got just under 350 miles on the clock.
This was mainly inner city driving. Do you think this is suitable? or is there something wrong?
Would appreciate any other mileage car owners get on their 206 1.4L LX.
Thanks a lot!!!

That roughly works out at 38 miles er gallon!!
I would say this is fine, urban driving aswell so short trips!!
Personally I think that mileage is good!!

I've got a 1.6 16V and I get between 350-400 miles out of a tank depending on what sort of driving/journeys I'm doing. A tank generally costs me £35 a pop.
I drive 40 miles to work and back every day and I hardly ever do short town trips......maybe once a week.
350 miles seems pretty bad to me. Is it economical on longer runs or do you only ever drive round town?

Thanks for all your info guys. Yeh it seems to be ok then. I'd say 80-90% of my driving is urban, so seems fine.
Thanks!!

yeah 350 roughly for me as I just said in another post so you seem to be getting the average... if I drive without the heating on and no radio, along the M1 cruising at about 50 I can get up to 500 as I have nearly done before with 2 journey's to London and back one weekend, was quite impressed but won't do it again, took soo long!

350miles is totally acceptable total miles to a full tank mate so no need to worry.

There's been a thread about filling 206 fuel tanks and that they only fill up to 7/8 full. Well, filled mine up yesterday and it went right up to full! First time ever. Just meant it cost me more.

There's been a thread about filling 206 fuel tanks and that they only fill up to 7/8 full. Well, filled mine up yesterday and it went right up to full! First time ever. Just meant it cost me more. I read something on here the other day about it being bad for the 'something-or-other' (ECU?) if you fill the car right to the very top, i.e. after it's clicked a couple of times and you keep going. I mentioned this to my b/f as he always fills it right up and it does about 5 or 6 clicks of the fuel pump sometimes. Anyway, he said it's a load of cr@p and it would affect anything. Does anyone know anything about this?

Can't effect the ECU surely? you're just filling fuel in the tank... I have filled it up to the first click before and the needle is just under the top marker on the gauge and then before I have filled it until you just see excess fuel at the top and the gauge reads full.
Perhaps the trip computer might get a little confused if it were filled mroe then it expected it to be but that would be all?

i get about 100 miles to a quarter (driving economically which never happens), never had a full tank yet to much money i filled it up when i first got the car and cost me about 42 quid thats to many dollars for a student.
p.s very annoyed the xsi is faster and has a better fuel economy i wish id carried on saving
