Believe it or not i DID get the purple film from 2 x Quality street "big ones" Good guess OL lolol NO WAY!!!! How the hell did I get that. I spoke with thewardster tonight and we were joking about that. I thought I was being a smart arse. Was it one of those ideas where you opened up the sweet and hit on a totally bizzare but might just work type idea??!! I am so chuffed and full credit for getting that working.

I looked everywhere for coloured projector type film to use, but only find the clear stuff. Tried art shops, newsagents, supermarket, toys r us, everywhere. Couldnt find anything to use. Then i was sitting watching an ad for quality streets and it just popped into my head. Im really trying to get some pics but my digital camera is really really doing my head in. lolol great minds and all that though ol lol

That does look pretty good, but I wanted to get away from the orange theme that pug use... I'm still well impressed at night with them P.S. I love blue lights sooo much, but never will I have blue washer jets

I dismantled the console but for surprise the light was made with 3 orange leds instead of a orange filter. My car is a 2002 206 RG and i think that all the lights are made of orange leds. Have to find caps to put on those to change the color.

Okay so i finally had some time to look at the car and tried to see what kind of leds lit the console. So i dismantle everything took it inside to find that what they used to light the clock wasn't leds but orange bulbs after so many work i at least tried to find another colored bulb to fit but i don't know where to buy it. I tried to see how the clock looked like without any light to realize that the lcd is also orange so i don't know if changing the backlight will do any change. Now i mounted everything again because the radio doesn't play without the clock and i will keep trying to find a store that sells this type of bulbs. When i find some sort of bulb i'm going to buy for all the console.

Try a model shop, one that sells dolls houses, but also try radio controlled model shops.
They have all kinds of tiny, low voltage bulbs, then all you need to do is find one that matches the rating you are replacing.

You dont need to change the bulbs in the clock. All you need to do is remove the orange filter and replace it with a different colour. As it states at the beginning opf this post lol ;D
