Well I know the Pugs have many different 'Therapeutic' sounds whilst driving.
I have had a rattle sound with my boot for ages now - tried the parcel shelf (i.e. putting foam in the bracket but no good) - tried the boot rubber stoppers (by putting foam bits to prevent friction)
Then a mate says - put some electrical tape around the part on the boot where the boot clips down. I.e. the small inch long bit that the boot is held to the car with.
If you need a pic let me know!!
I put the tape on (as had some in the car) and when shook the boot the sound was not there. I will be leaving college soon - will let you know if this solves the problem.

Absolutly none. Well only one, which is a bit of trim that my sister kicked when she first got out of it and bumped it off a clip. Going to get them refit it when it goes back for post delivery check in June, its no real biggie.

Pretty good isnt it!! The rattle has totally gone!! I an so happy now.
But I do notice the engine bay rattles, squeaks etc more. Including the farting sound from the ecotek valve- I must re tune it. Will put a 'How To' on the ecotek valve and where to fit it, soon!!
Cheers for advice!!

Its my aim to find all the squeaks and noises!! My door is playing up now - just put some WD40 on it!!
Will check later see if noise has stopped- really do hope its not the check strap (back to garage again!)
