Hi, does anyone know how to remove the black front and rear bumper strips, on the back its the bit that sits just under the tailgate. Ive removed the screws and given it a pull and a push but its solid.
Is there more screws anywhere else ? Ive also had a look at the front one too and it looks like i need to take out the spacer that runs under the pug badge to get at the screws but is there anything else i need to know ?
Thanks

would imagine you have to remove the whole bumper? screws probably located on underside of bumper.

i have been told that if u wrap the edge of a flat edge screw driver, and wedge it between the gap of the bumper stripe and the edge of the wheel arch.... (where the bumper stripes end) u may be able to wedge this out.
this is from someone who has done this and has managed to get it out......but i hold no responsibility if u do this and damage your car/bumper/paintwork etc!!

You would be best taking your bumpers off!! Its alot easier then as you wont break any clips or damage your paint work!! It may take longer but its the best way!!

Thanks for all the help, its sorted now. You dont need to remove the whole bumper to get the strips off. I used info from a couple of posts mainly; Remove the 3 screws just hidden by the bottom of the closed tailgate. Use a flat screwdriver ( a big one ) to gently lever one side of the tapered end from the main bumper. Because you are pulling it now from an angle the little clips mentioned above pop out pretty easy. If they do get stuck at all use a thin flat screwdriver to lift up the plastic " slot " and the peg slides out. The front one is a little easier as there arent any screws holding it in at all Once again thats to everyone on the board for helping me out and not damaging my 206 !!!! :-D

If only I knew that when I took mine off, I took the front of the car apart and the rear too to get them off and it ended up with me butchering the clips off as I was replacing them with the chrome ones.
