Hiya, again! LOL! I want to use wax to try and hide swirl marks but someone suggested T-cut on a very dry clean car and it would take an hour or so..and then wax and then polish.......I have never used T-cut but have a dented wing that I can practise on..... is it recommendable to help your car? or just better to bear the swirlies and hold to wax? thanks

Yeah I used T-cut before on my dark red fiesta!! It was a bit time consuming, and needed alot of elbow grease!!
It is good for minor scratches etc, not so sure its good for bigger marks!!
As you've explained - you should wash and thoroughly dry the area, then apply T-cut, use alot of elbow grease. Leave it for a while then wash it all over!! You may have to do it a few times!!
Hope this helps!!

Personally I would go over to www.speeding.co.uk and buy JUST the Meguires Stage 1 paint cleaner. That particular product is designed to get the little icky swirl marks and very minor scratches out of the paint work. If you do use it you will need to then go over with some polish, as this isn't a polish/wax thing. Its a little hard work but you get a good result. Using it currently on my black car and it does work well. See you still having the same probs as before with your swirl marks Jaq!! Still haven't been able to sort them ;D You raged a huge debate the last time about this between me and mullet about the best cleaning products if you remember.

I think I did as it degraded into a usual Mullet and Me taking swipes at each other. Ahhh those were the days.
