Why not just get some radweld??
If its only minor that should seal it up for a good 20K miles or so.

If your planning on keeping the car for a while, I would get a new radiator. Have you checked prices in euro car parts or german, swedish & french. Europarts quote £64 and gsf £69 tho' these prices probably don't include vat. Still cheaper that £400.

I would consider radweld but i personally dont know anyone whos used it, anyone here had experience with it. does it really work?? On an unrelated matter my main (dipped) offside headlamp has blown. anyone know the part number off by heart ? hmm problems usually come in threes so ill just have to wait on the edge of my seat for the third one.

AFAIK with Radweld you just pour the contents of the bottle into your rad's header tank and drive around, the water will circulate and the stuff does the job. Does it work, yeah, cause it works. Ol'man has used it in several of his own and company vehicles, works a treat. As for the bulb, frosted lense headlamps are H4 and clear crystal lamp bulbs are H7's - I am pretty sure on this. Use the bulb finder on the right hand side of the page: www.powerbulbs.co.uk/

If its not alot don't pick it off, as that is also helping to plug the hole.
