the 501 fitment is very simple, pull out and plug in, nothing is easier to do.

well i just put my new smoked rear lights and fog light in and they look great however i cannot work out how the angel eyes go in. My new angel ights have a large 3 pin connector on the back of them and the standard pug206 lights just has this little grey conenctor which will never fit, also how do you actaully get the lights out the car - have you got to remove the grill?.... I;ve got pictures of the instructions i got and of my new rear lights but i have o idea how i get them to appear on here.
can anyone help?

Just going back to those LED sidelights that I bought on ebay on the 17th, I've still not recieved them, anyone have any experience buying from this guy and how long it took to deliver? I know hes in Hong Kong, this is the first time I've bought something outside the UK on ebay...

M3 top stuff mate, that makes sense now. the instructions i got with them are really crap but i understand now about the H4/H7. My instructions say the angel eyes have H4 but if your standards are H7 then cut the connector off the angel eyes.....although it dosent tell you what to do with the wires after you have cut the connector off? ? As for the LED sidelights, i too bought some on the 17th and they havent arrived yet either.....must be christmas post causing havoc?

ye i bought off that guy took donkeys years to arrive! got it on xmas eve, they were sent out to me on 2/12/04! as for cuttin the wires your gonna need like a male connector for them to feed into your H7 sockets on your car.. i dont know the exact measurement inside the sockets on your lights.... but i suggest trying halfords or maplins to find male connectors that you connect to the wires and then plug into the H7 sockets in firmly! this is what am thinking of Male Connector Female Connector (be more grippy as it has bulges & can be flatened with pliers if required...i used these ones myself when fitting in speakers to my G/F car and she had sockets and i didnt wanna cut them)

His feedback looks ok so it must just be a delay. I'm lucky all my standard connectors fit the angels, I even plugged them in and sat them inside the engine bay to "test" them when I got them ;D
Have a look at your indicator bulb holders too, mine fit ok (have 4 studs for the 4 notches in the hole on the angels. but Ive heard some 206 indicator bulb holders have 3 notches so wouldnt fit into the new angels???) I dont know if this is true but worth looking before you're half way through fitting them.

ok thats fine, i can cut the H4 connector and attach a 'spade' type thing on the end....but do you know which wire from the H4 goes to which hole in the H7 connector?
My H4 has red, blue and black wires on it?

that i aint too sure of....... you need to find out from on a standard h4 light which pin is high beam, low beam and negative and then find the same for your H7 socket...tryin to look on the net now myself cant come across it...find this out first as i dont suggest tryin your luck by sticking the wires in to the h7 socket to find out...the voltage on the high n low beams differ and may damage the bulb.....
anyone got a haynes manual? this wou;d be state inside the elctronics diagrams on the back

ok i think i am finally starting to get my head round this. So once i have worked out which cable is for high/low,etc i should be well on the way.
There are also 2 other wires, a black and red one which dont plug into the connector - is this for the LED? what do i do with them?

Yep they are your LED wires, you need to strip a small bit of the plastic off the wires going to your sidelights and join these two wires onto them, with a bit of solder, electrical tape (and heat shrink etc if you want it) so that they light with your sidelight. I can't remember which is positive and which is negative though, I checked the other day. The wires have to be the right way round or the LEDs wont light.

ok that sounds relativly easy. all i need to know now then is which is the relative wire for high/low/negative on the H4 & H7 connectors and i'll be laughing!

You could try just tracing back where the wires lead to on your current lamps? take off the rubber seal and follow the wires inside the current headlight unit to where the bulbs are. I know it wont be easy with the angle you have to be at to see, and without being able to hold the headlamp in your hands, but you could give it a go? I'll have a look online and see if I can find anything on the connectors..
