The 2 types are the original fitments on the car, not the replacement lights.
Original H4 frosted headlights use a single bulb & dipped beam goes off when full beam selected. They had the bulb connector placed on the back of the bulb straight from the wiring loom.
Original H7 clear headlights use seperate bulbs and dipped beam stays on when full beam selected. They have a 3pin plug on the back of the light housing & this goes into the headlight & supplies the bulbs through wiring in the headlight itself.
If you have the H4 type headlights then you will need to use an adaptor or put up with the dipped beam going out when you select full beam and you may need to find the 3pin connector as used on the H7's to make them fit. If you have H7 style then they should fit without a problem.
