Thinking of upgrading the spark plugs on my 206 gti and was wondering where exactly are they located?? and is it a hard job to replace them also what recommendations on brand of spark plugs?

Just remove the plastic cover and then the coil packs, this gives easy access to the plugs. Don't upgrade them it's just a waste of money. Standard plugs are fine.

If your car is running fine - don't touch coil pack or spark plugs. As Teddy says, standard plugs from Pug dealer are the best for the job. You don't want to start getting misfire / cutout problems.
