as i mentioned while ago i had trouble with my ICE install, draining my battery, dimming my lights, eating my revs and sucking my petrol dry! well due to the small engine and small battery everything electrical is on the weak side so i butched it up with a power cap...... works a charm. no lights dim and very affective in giving out a smooth bass line.... with no drops in tone or crackle in bass notes.... all of the above problems have been put aside since i put this in....and is much louder than before,...gave myself a headache on a few times its nice @ night with the Blue Led's and Digital Voltage meter. interesting to see it drop volts with each thump......

Have you thought of puttin a bigger alternator on, that produces more amps because the sounds of it it sounds like you are takin too much amps from the the alternator.

was told get a uprated battery & alternator but that all costs too much ££ which i dont wish to cater for the next owner...this was a cheaper option £29.99 and it does the job very well. this then doesnt let the aub feed 100% percent off the cars elelctrics if it does come short then capacitor kicks in and covers the loss of amps

hi, they are VERY simple to fit... all you have to do feed the power cable from the battery (red wire on the picture) to the + connector on the capacitor and then you feed from the same + connector to the Amp + connector (yellow wire on the picture).... you earth the capacitor as well...(but not to the amp - connection, somewhere where it bare metal...as shown in the 2nd picture...) and earth the amp as normal even with big engines i'd still say it's eating up from the engines power supply on high notes so i'd say anyone would benefit from them..... i have a 1.1 and i would die with out it and now it fine and i only go the 1.0 Farad one.... for £29.99 i wernt gonna going to go wrong the calculation is for every 500W you need 0.5 farads..... my amp is 650W RMS so i got me a 1.0 farad....but i'd say go for a larger one..... i bought it off ebay form this seller....posted cheque on friday ite recieved on tuesday Via City Link Courier 1.0 Farad cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14931&item=5763235427&rd=11.5 Farad cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14931&item=5761614778&rd=12.0 Farad cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14931&item=5763277375&rd=1the cheapest retail price i found was for £100 from maplins for a 1.0 farad one...... leave it up 2 u to decide
