Reset your fuel comp and drive it for a week. Then check your average fuel comsumption. Exhaust should not make too much difference to mpg. I get about 28/29mpg no matter how I drive and all I have is K&n panel filter.

exhaust was fitted by ExhaustsUK in Sheffield very well known and good reputation black pug gti how do you reset the fuel comp I haven't really messed with trip comp that much Lee I gather take it to Peugeot to get ECU remapped?? do they charge for this service? i still have about 5 month warranty remaining on my car but due to exhaust system think they will throw up a hissey fit. cheers guys

Fuel comp - if it has a button on end of stalk to change thro' the settings, just push and hold this button in for 10 seconds and should reset average mpg, speed etc.

It won't need a remap and i'd ignore the fuel computer too... they are not accurate. Best thing to do is fill the tank, drive it and then fill it up again and see how much you've used. Maybe you've just been driving it harder as it sounds better? There is always the possibility that they have damaged a lambda sensor when fitting the exhaust...

Or the O2 sensor could be playing up...
