Has n e one thought about doing this!! Could you put another vent on the bonnet but on the other side so that it looks symetrical!! (*spelling*) I have always liked thing to be the same on both sides, and wondered whether you could buy a bonnet with two vents in or not!! Just an idea!!

Do you mean sticker, sorry not too sure!!
But surely if it was the proper thing then it would look ok!!

it was a 206 style vent (same look & features) but it was stuck on, as in double sided adhesive stuck on.... it wernt like the guy had cut out the bonnet and fitted a original 206 vent in

Personally I think it would look crap.

then the water splash onto the engine? surely this aint a good thing or wise thing to do!!! unless u mod it in a way where u can shield the water away.

You couldn't use the same vents and just angle them the other way as they arent exact rectangles, in that the tops and bottoms of each vent arent at 90 degrees to the sides, so it wouldnt work. I could photoshop it up at the weekend!

Yeah but you can lasso it, copy, add new layer and then flip horizontally and then skew it about a bit to make to look right and then flatten the image??

You can do the real thing too. You just need some kind of moulded tray that will collect the water above the battery then drill small hole in the lowest point and connect a pipe to it and drain it into the front wing where the water goes now.

or if u have a strut brace, you can construct a funnel (under the grille) to direct the water, via a tube along the stru brace to where the normal grille goes and let the water run out that way......stil sounds like alot of work tho!

You could do the real thing yes, but not make it simetrical, unless you somehow moudled a completely new grille, as the angles of the existing one are designed to sit on the right hand side only, but Im sure you realise that, but thats all I was meaning ;D

I had thought about doing this before, to use the new intake to feed an inductin kit. Wat gave me the idea was seeing the vent light kits and thinking it would look good if it were symetrical.
Would be difficult to do without injection moulding kit and a lot of cash to set it up!
Hmmm, lots of uni's have direct moulding machines in their engineering departments, could knock one up in a couple of hours.
