Hi,
I currently have a 1.4lx and was wondering if its possible to convert to a 2litre plus a greddy turbo kit, I know the engine bay is cramped as it is which is why i dont think this will work, could u pls advice.. many thanks... Rishi

It would be easier (and probably cheaper) to just buy a GTi instead of buying an engine, getting it fitted and upgrading the suspension and brakes etc. in your existing car. Then you could think about the turbo...

looked into doing that mate only people who will undertake it really is pug performance and they want 3500 to convert cos they have to change the rear axle, dials, get chasis numbers and vin numbers off the old model and remap ecu upgrade throttle bodies and install a new gera box blah blah loads of stuff mate, and turbo is 8500 on top of that mate u'd be better off just buying summit japanese unless u are proper minted unfortunatly, although they doa conversion to the xsi for 1750 im thinking about doing that and also a rear axle conversion for only 350 so u get disks on the rear

nah it's just so they can verify where the parts came from and that the engine is not new and how many miles and that ur not chopping it up and things like that.
