Have you 'flipped' the pics on your site round or is your car left hand drive? Also, how have you got black dials?!

On some models it is necessary to remove the complete dorr-cover to gain acess to the speaker...!!! My car is left-hand driven because I`m from denmark... For the black dials....I have talked to the dealer, and he says it depends on the original colour and age of the car....some silver-models have white dials... But I`m looking for white dials, because i find them more exclusive than black ones....

Fair play with the left hand drive then! As for the dials i thought all GTi's came with the 'Jaegur' (sic) silver ones?.....

I actual don`t know....perhaps the former owner have replaced them with black ones....but i don`t think so....the center-piece of the car is also dark-silver...not pure silver, like in others GTI`s i have seen....
But then again...i haven`t seen any other GTI here in denmark in the dark blue paint...

Yeah yours is the same colour as mine (the best colour IMO ) but mine has silver dials so maybe it's a Euro thing?

I would not be suprised if it was....european cars are very borring, they are always as neutral as they can bee...or else they don`t sell....
And in top of that, in denmark cars are extremely expensive....so there aint any fancy extra equipment in the cars overhere...no aircon, xenon, lether.....only if you got so much "monetos" that you are in doubt about what to do with it....

Can't you buy one in Germany or Holland and import a nicer car cheaper.

Nope....it`s a option...and a very expensive one...and the first owner did`nt order the car with aircon. But anyway....it`s really `not necessary in denmark with aircon.......it`s only a few days a year where the temperature reach 30 degrees.... So i really don`t miss it.....and beside, it takes power from the engine ;D My dad in law got a 406, and he found one with aircon.....and he admit, that he isn`t using it much... The price on aircon (clima contr.) vary from 1500-2500 US dollars. Because we pay extra tax for extra equipment.....it suck big time. And the car themselves are quit expensive, twice the price in UK..

A importet car, is valued by a the dansih auto-control.....and as a thumb rule, you pay around 100% in taxes on a importred car....the foreign price of the car, plus 100%.....
So it`s allmost as cheap to find a used inside DK.
The only advantage is that you can find one with extra equipment, but when the danish car control value the car, they push the price upward when the car got alot of extra features.....
So it`s allmost not worth the affort.....

The only way is to import a car, as scrab, and take all the features and install them in your own car...
And then hope they don`t see the added features when the car is going to the "check" every second year.....
We don`t have to pay anything to import a scrab car....as long you don`t put plates on....

Haha....I saw "the 5 gear" yesterday, where they are looking for the best sportscar ever....and I allmost cried when they told what the prices are in UK... I really wanted, at that moment, to live in UK.... For the price i gave for my GTI, i could allmost be driven in a Lotus Elise in UK....!!!!!
