Hi all,
I have a 1998 1.4 GLX which has started to blow from the exhaust. The hole appears to be where the long pipe from the front joins the rear box. My concern is that if it is the long pipe that has gone, how much can I expect to pay for a new section as it includes the cat? This really is a poor design IMHO!
Regards

If it gets to pricey the alternative is to get a new "sporty" back box & cut the exhaust to fit it.
Or even someone like Powerflow, cost me £220 for a cat back system on my HDi and the new bits are stainless steel so shouldn't cause any more problems

Thanks for all your help folks...
Local exhaust dealer fitted a "Cat Repair Pipe" for £25 ;D
It is worth nothing that there are 2 diameters of exhaust fitted, 36mm and 43mm (IIRC)..
