as above.......as u know, i have been having probs with me battery.........am def gonna get a new one this coming week!!
well after trying to start it for like ages.....it started but the engine autodiagnostics warning light came on and stayed on......i turn engine off and restarted it and it was still on, but since, i have driven it home and started it again and it did not come on.....what is this all about?
does anyone know?

Maybe while your engine was trying to start, unburnt fuel was going into exhaust. Lambda sensor would have picked this up so the engine light came on.

Exact same thing happened on my friend 106 once, but it went away just as yours has and didnt return. On a side note - Chi are you getting my PM's? I dont know if they are working

ye it stank of petrol chi....... you prob flooded the engine while you were starting it today

well at least its nothing serious then!!
saves me $$ of having to go peugeot to sort out, but do need to get me a new battery on tues!!
are they diffcult to take off and fit a new one on?

Make sure the replacement has the same shaped posts as the battery in your car. (ie..the bits where the cables connect onto). After removing cables from battery, I think there is a clamp securing the battery (on top). Just take this off and remove battery.
