not sure if this is related, but the increase in price of petrol means your getting less in your tank for the same amount say a year ago......so u may be having less fuel in your car? or do u tend to bury your right foot down at every opportunity??

What model 206 do you have Jacqui!!
As Chi says it could be that the petrol prices have gone up, this is most likely your prob.
Does your exhaust sound the same as normal? i.e. its not blowing is it?

If you have the air con on try switching it off , I've usually noticed a 5-10% imporvement in fuel economy.
Cheers,

It's probably a hole in the exhaust mate when i got mine thought it sounded amazing with the little put put when u rev it but then the garage found a hole in the back and mid section which had been half sealed with putty grrr, and my missus has a 1.1 look and they dont sound throaty at all untill above about 6000rpm lol (not that ive tried) but seriously get it checked out u can damage the cat if ur driving with a hole in the exhaust
p.s stan the man i like ur name and more people should have comics names on here

My car was serviced, MOTed in Jan - beginning of Feb I thought the petrol was not so good - took it to Mike Woods and they checked for free and said there was a slight tear in the centre section!! So just cause its serviced doesnt mean they checked the exhaust thoroughly!!
I would take it to Mike Woods etc and get them to check it for you!!
Just in case!!
