noticed it over the last couple of days.......when i start me engine.........it doesnt turn over straight away as usual...........it turns over about once and maybe twice before it ignites...........what could be the cause of this? and what can i do to resolve it?
any help will be appreciated!
p.s. the problem tends to happen mostly when its from a cold start.

Mine goes through spells of this now and then and then just goes back to normal. Dont quite know why.

it only really started on wed as i was going to work...........strange......hope it aint anything too bad?!

mech today said that it is prob the battery has low charge......so might need a new battery.

Battery might just need a good charge. If you have access to charger - just take out battery and charge it.

how long does a battery normally last anyway?
i have had the car for 20months or so and havent changed it.

Last time I changed battery, car was 5 years old. After winter, battery might be a bit flat as it will have been under greater load. Or you could take it a long run up motorway too give it a good charge and see how you go.

thats what i've been told to do, but i dont have time to get a good run up the motorway coz i stuck at uni with assignments and work!
