I've had a problem with the front of the car... when I'm slowly cornering or starting off the front of the car makes a loud creaking noise... I used to be able to stop this by getting some WD40 on the bushes behind the wheel... however when I got the suspension lowered the problem went away.
Now it's back with avengance and I'm not sure what to about it, I've heard that WD50 will be a temp fix but it will essentially wash away any grease there? will the bushes need replacing? and can I be sure that replacing the bushes would solve the problem?
Cheers.

Try grease instead of WD40 then. WD40 is a cleaner with lubricant properties, but it evaporates quite quickly. Its possible to get some sorts of grease in spray form. Don't know how suitable they are for this though. The WD40 vs proper lubricant thing I know about from rollerblade bearings, not cars.

Mine does this too. I think this is a problem with 307's too - even low mileage ones.

Odd though as it never happened for over a year in the car... so I assumed something was going wrong or was about to go wrong.
I'll give the grease a shot and see how that goes, until I can get some it'll be WD40...
