206 erratic rpm and stalling problem cured?

Hi everyone I am a newbie here!!!

I have replaced a new ignition coil (Black one) and a set of new spark plugs, but I wonder is it going to cure the erratic rpm problems? On the other hand, I am planning to put some aftermarket Oil temp, Oil press and water temp gauges on my little 206? I wonder what are the threw size for those hole?


Oil Temp = 10mm?
Oil Press = 22mm?

The only way you can cure that erratic rpm problem and stalling problem is by changing the ECU,

Its is very common in the 106 and 206 range. look at this web site:

He's right! I was on the original Watchdog programme with mine and Peugeot got hold of me after the show to sort out looking at my car, they ended up keeping it for quite some time but supplied me with quality c.car and they replaced many parts but eventually was the ECU that sorted out the problem!! Big money if you are paying for it yourself, they said that they didn't normally replace them in cars that age (T reg 1999) as not worth doing, but being as they were determined to find the fault they went for it.
