Can anyone help me with this problem. My Central locking seems to be playing up a lot. If I lock the doors they just pop back up again until eventually the central locking doesn't work any more. If I lock the doors manuallt the drivers side is fine (Although it doesn't lock att the doors like it used to) and if I lock the pasengers side door manually all the locks open again. I then have to lock it manually (this time the doors don't unlock) and then have to go to the drivers side an lock that door. Sometimes the doors open up again on their own some time later (I've come back to the car after work and the doors are open!!). I've now had to remove the fuse for the central locking but obviously the boot is still open all the time as you can't manually lock it! Has anyone else had this problem? I own a 1.4 99 206 LX.

It sounds like you have a faulty sensor, because there is sensors in the car and if you have a crash and your doors are locked, the sensor should sense the crash and automaticly open the doors,

Or the other problem is water in the locking mechanism. This will unlock all doors when you try and lock them.
There have been a few posts about this problem.

Use the 'search' button on this sight. Looks like you have a knackered lock on one or both sides.

Hi my cars locking is doing exactly the same it even locks unlocks sometimes when your driving its a complete nightmare... Again I would say this comes down to the door lock control box, its such a duff design idea to put it in a wet zone of the car, water will always screw up electrics.
