well obviously dont drop it toooo much!...if u drop the front say 35mm, then the rear shd be something like 40-45mm.....as some has said the 206 shd naturally be front lower than rear and help in handling.

If you are dropping the front by 40mm Id say drop the back by at least 15mm more, or it will look like it is sitting high up. I got my front lowered 25 and the back about 40, to level it out.
P.s sorry Big I know I said I wouldnt be up this late but I couldnt help it!!!

I didn't get the idea of lowering 35 on front and 40-45 on rear. Doesn't that mean to lower the rear much more ? Or are you actually refering to the exact height of the spring instead of how short it is than the original ones ? 206 is also looking bad on rear as its like higher on front which is chasis' design stupitidy. The arc is narrower on the rear so it looks like its lower than front. I hate that and that's why I lowered front 20mm more than rear. The front is 45mm lower than the original and the rear is about 20mm lower than the original setting. Considering the tire+rim setup of the gti (with 50mm eibach springs), i'm about a half cm lower Note: Now count how many times I used the word "low" and find out how it looks silly hehehe.
