Id be interested, by all means, but dont know if I could! Furthest Ive driven is to and from Aberdeen in the one day (240miles in total) and I was quite tired! But I was helping someone move house so it wasn't just the journey. Im in Fife, as Lee says, Id probably drive 200miles but may be prepared to stretch it a little.

I have two thoughts on this.
Why don't we have a north and south meet.
Those up north come down to south and they either travel back or stay over in a B&B for the night, and the southerners do the same.
ORRRRR
We find that place that is suppose to be the dead centre of Britain, somewhere round Birmingham I think, then we all will have to travel the same distance weather to live absolutly north or south.
And no hitching a ride M3 you gotta bring your ride.
I would gladly come along to a meet, if I get the time. But you gotta think of somewhere good to meet up, not like a Halfords car park, I ain't travelling miles to sit in Halfords.

therz a few (me, m3 and some others, cant bring name to mind) in or around london, so we all convoy somewhere (if everyone is ok with that)
should we divide it up into 4-5 sections of the uk.....
*south-east *south-west *central (birmingham etc) *north *east
and we can insert your name under which section u come under.
dont know if anyone has any better ideas?

What about arranging to meet somewhere 'nice', somewhere people wouldn't mind travelling to, and then as Big suggests, stay in a B&B or a cheap Travelodge for the night. That way you don't have drive 200 miles to sit around somewhere not knowing what to do.......
Can't think of anywhere 'nice' off the top of my head at the mo, well not somewhere were everyone will think is nice. But you could say, have a few beers and go for a curry or something?
BTW, I'm central south if that helps anything........
