i am thinking of applying only onto the badge and then leaving it to dry on the mesh grille.....how long does clear silicone take to dry?

i suggest using some sort of textured adhesive like the same stuff used when the badge was put on by pug... dont know what its cold

You could also try Araldite but this would be permanent.

as far as i know, i am keeping this car for the foreseeable future....and then maybe giving it (or selling....hehe) to my sis.
so am not that bothered about taking if off or not.

Checked the badge I got from e-bay and it is a larger size from one on boot. Did they change the size of these at some point? ps it's a gti180 badge but i don't need the 180 part.

Chi, How did you take your badge off. I fancy fitting the larger one from e-bay on boot and putting smaller one on grill.

. I fancy fitting the larger one from e-bay on boot be very careful doin this...if you dont get it to sit right & bodge it up the adhesive used on after market badges are not as simple to remove as the standard ones.... i wouldnt suggest it really
