the griffith is def worth getting..........however griffith have changed their designs alot lately, so not sure which one u will get???
with regards to lights......i have the clear side repeaters and black JDM rear lights and it goes quite well.....but my car is diablo red so it might come down to the colour of your car and whether it would suit or not.
there is not a better acceleration with the use of an induction kit....if this was the case then dont u think loads of peps would get one....tho there is the increase in noise..but not sure if this can be translated as an increase in speed.

The reason people get induction kits is to increase the acceleration/speed, many people choose not too cause they make lots of noise and drain fuel!!

even if it did, the difference will not be "that" much...........come on its common sense......something which cost £50-200 will not make that much of a difference.
if there was alot to gain from adding a induction kit, surely they would cost more then cams, chipping etc?

When I had induction kit on, was a lot noisier but fuel consumption wasn't any worse. Did feel quicker tho' at high revs. In the olden days before catalysts, the easy way to increase power was to change air filter to k&n bolt on or panel filter and to fit tubular exhaust manifold and big bore system. The more gas you could get thro' and engine - the more power. And it was the manifold that made the bigger difference, not the zost. Back to the subject. I would get a nice set up wheels first and a better sound system.

Depends they cant charge that much for summit u can make in ur home and there not really rocket science but u need a forced air one so thats at least 200 which is more then the average back box, but to be honest it's common sense that for an engine to work properly it has to breath properly. More air equals cooler temp's thus less strain and pressure on engine while in high revs

Ideal induction kit is to have no air filter at all. Just have nothing there. Look at old F1's , all they had was trumpets. The length of these affected the torque of engine. Longer inlet tracts on inlet manifold increases torque. And more air doesn't equal cooler temps, just look at turbos with intercoolers. You might have noticed that your car runs better on a cold morning when air is colder and denser. Look on E-bay and all these cheap performance upgrades. These all connect between air inlet temp sensor and ecu fooling you ecu into thinking that air inlet temp is low (dense) and so overfueling.

Yeah , If you want to get chipped, go to superchips or bbr and get it done right.

O and by the way a dastek unichip is only 225 plus fitting if u cant do it urself and a fast road cam from kent is 190pound so if u could fit these urself and map them they would be just as cheap it's just most people cant once again it's the man time were paying for not the actual mod

Wouldn't touch the cam as it is too easy to f@ck up your engine for minimal gain. Best thing is to get a big zost and air filter and get the Dastek chip........and you've already got these so go for the chip.

yeah it's true but aparently with all that u'd be looking at a 10 maybe 15 hp gain thats all so the guy at dastek said apparently non turbo'd 206's dont respon well to exhausts and chip's. Huff god damn hippies

It's the catalyst that f@cks you up. If it wasn't there you could fit tubular manifold which would help your engine breath a lot better. Pre 1992 you could do pretty much what you wanted to your engin e.

thinking of these.. the idea of performance stuff scares the nuts out of me... as the margin of error to screw up the engine is much smaller Btw for a silver car would you guys recommend crome or black, angel eyes and lexus lights?

Go for the angels!! Morrettes are out 2day and there are quite good. Not lexus, these are outdated!!
I prefer the chrome light effect, on any car, but this has long been a debate with people liking both types, look at Aj's car in the car section for the dark effect and Wardy's for the chrome!!
