Use a really stong industrial glue like No More Nails. Its an epoxy glue so is waterproof and very stong.

Or alternatively take any two-component glue you can get your hands on, or even better, use a windshield glue, sticks like crazy and still elastic so it won't crack

I would go for a bonnet skin as i am planning to do the same thing. Basically you buy the bonnet skin and u take it to a VERY good bodyshop to have the bonnet skin moulded in. I think ecosse charge way to much. You can get that bonnet skin from FFWD for abt £90 and a body shop can mould it in and insert the mesh inside the grooves for you too. including buying the bonnet skin, work to do and paint it will prob be about £200 all together i think.

keemeng just a bit of a warning. But i personal wouldn't use ffwd as i brought a complete bonnet from them and it didn't fit and when i told them they didn't seem very helpful May have just been a one off though.

The bonnet still sits in the garage. It does fit its just the locking bar on the bonnet is stright where as the one on the original bonnet is at an angle so it doent lock. I had it srayed so they wouldnt change it but they said i had to sand bits off it near locking catch to make it fit. I tried but still didnt lock so took to local garage and he said id got to move locking catch which seemed alot of messing about so i didnt bother.

It cost me £215. I suppose i could but with it already sprayed sliver you would have to find someone who has a sliver car or they would need to get it sprayed to match thier car.

I see. because i wanted to get the blue sport bonnet. But i was planning on buying the skin for 90 and a bodyshop round my way said he can easily mould the skin on for me and insert mesh for about £30. But i will have to get it sprayed myself. I have got a silver 206. Aluminium Silver. But i was thinking of spraying mine black. If u did sell it how much will u doit for around about? Im not sure if its beter for me to just get a skin or get the bonnet which is prob light right?

The only problem I could see with getting a skin was when it comes to selling the car the next person might not want the same bonnet so thats why i got the full bonnet, Im not sure how much I would sell it for as I would wanna sell it and it not fit your car either.

Yeh, but its such a nice bonnet y wudnt neone want it? But its very cheap for anoda person to get a normal replacement one from brokers or euro car parts. What exactly is wrong with it? isit too big n need cutting down or too small?

Don't forget the new person if they bought a new bonnet would also be faced with the cost of spraying to match and if they were a shade out it would look stupid
